The Housatonic River starts in Northwestern
Massachusetts and flows through Western Connecticut and eventually into Long
Island Sound. Fishing and boating are some of the activities that keep some
people busy on the Housatonic, but everyone gets a great view of the river
from Route 7 as it weaves along the river. These shots were taken in the
Boardman Bridge and River Road areas of New Milford, Connecticut.

The collection of fall foliage pictures
shown on these pages were taken by me unless otherwise noted. Most shots
were taken in Litchfield County, Connecticut which is located in Central
and North Western Connecticut. During October, leafpeeping is my favorite
hobby as the trees change from green to red and yellow.
